Speakers
Designers in Progress sponsors outstanding and distinguished speakers who are masters of visual communication. Each is unique and has their own innovative personal style. DIP speakers are known for their motivational presentations, engaging insights and advice that they share. Receptions are held after speaker presentations to allow DIP members to converse one-on-one with the speakers in a comfortable setting.

Tours
DIP tours are usually held once a semester (depending on member interest). The tours consist of visits to a handful of design related businesses at the selected tour destination. Usually three different businesses selected from design firms, printing houses, advertising agencies, and other specialty firms.
Past tour destinations: San Jose, Palo Alto, Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.
