Design Practitioners

Our journey began as the Student Design Showcase, a humble initiative founded by two passionate design postgraduates at Northumbria University. As COVID-19 gradually shut down universities, opportunities for students to showcase their work to the design world became limited. Fueled by a shared vision to provide a creative space for fellow students to exhibit their work during challenging times, we rapidly gained recognition, amassing 26,000 Instagram followers. As we evolved, we realized the potential to be more than just a showcase.

We transformed into Designers in Progress, a dynamic design community that unites students, graduates, and seasoned designers. Our podcast, 'Designers in Progress,' brings insightful conversations with industry fireballs to your ears. Together, we celebrate the value of design, sharing resources and sparking innovative ideas. Join us on this exciting journey of growth and learning as we redefine what it means to be a designer in progress.
